Two Decades in the Ozarks

Years of commitment, a pinch of Ozark spirit, and a whole lot of heart. 

Our story began in 2000, with our sights set on an old beef processing facility waiting for its next chapter. With James balancing multiple jobs, the early days of growing J&J were a test of endurance and commitment, filled with long hours and few days off, all fueled by our vision for J&J.

Our family’s heart and soul went into J&J. With two young ones at home, there came a time when choices had to be made. Julie nudged James to choose between work commitments, and he turned his full attention to J&J. That moment was critical to our growth and eventual expansion. As the years rolled on, our children, Hayley and Seth, became integral parts of our journey, adding their touch to the family business. While many things have changed over the last 2+ decades, our dedication to quality and community has remained steadfast. In 2023, our dreams took flight as we embarked on an expansion. Slated for completion in 2024, this new chapter promises enhanced capacity, extended hang times, and state inspection offerings for resale, ensuring our family's commitment to serve you even better.

Through it all, our mission remains as simple as it began: to deliver exceptional service, ensure workplace safety, and craft a lasting family tradition with every cut.
